Senior Picture Planning

Planning your senior pictures helps the session to go better.

When deciding what to wear, start by thinking about colors. Coordinating colors will help your photos look cohesive. Solid colors or simple patterns work well together. You should also consider the location of your shoot when selecting clothing. A formal gown might not be the best attire for a photo in the woods! If you are struggling, ask us for help.

Overall, what you wear is up to you and should communicate your personality. This is an opportunity to show off some of your favorite clothes – don’t be afraid to be a little bit daring!

Hairstyles and makeup are also important considerations for your senior portraits. If you’re not sure what to do, we can help with that too! There are lots of great ideas out there, but we recommend keeping it simple. Too much makeup or an intricate hairstyle can be distracting from your gorgeous smile.

You can create a great idea or mood board in Pinterest. You can find lots of inspiration photos for clothing, makeup, and hairstyles. You don’t have to follow anyone’s lead exactly, but it can give you some great ideas to start with. Just save it and then share it with us and we can start planning from there.
